Happy Birthday Belle!

It’s our 1year anniversary, so we’re putting out the biggest issue ever.

May marks the beginning of wedding season, so we have a bridal beauty countdown. We have ways to beat dark circles, how to properly remove makeup and how to wear the new nude makeup.

We also have something special this month: Belle has now created the “Belle Green Beauty Award,” which recognizes companies who have gone that extra bit to be more eco friendly. We may not give out the award every month, but look for it in future issues.

The trees are starting to bud and the ground is thawing. We are now making the transition from winter to spring. Our skin needs some TLC at this time of year. The cold has dried and dulled our skin. With the temperatures changing from warm to cold each day our skin doesn’t know if it’s coming or going. We have come up with ways to help make the transition easier.

We’re going to show how to never look tired again, and expose some common mascara myths as well as provide some mascara tips and tricks.

With our new year’s resolutions fresh in our minds, I know the first one on many people’s list is to quit smoking. So to encourage our quitter’s just a bit, we’ve researched just how much smoking affects our skin and all over beauty.

Since January is usually the coldest month, we’ve done some DIY hair treatments and how to add a punch to your moisturizers, we’ve answered the question: “What are serums, and how do I use them?” This was a very common question we received from our readers in December.
